Two parts of the plastic broke rendering it completely useless. Very poorly constructed. While the vehicle was parked it came off the window and bounced to the floor.
I don't have to fish around my center console anymore to find my GPS and it holds it right where I can see it easily while navigating. I use it with my Rino530 and it holds the weight just perfect. I have loved this mount. It attaches firmly to the windshield and can be adjusted to just about any position.
It could have just gotten bumped or something though because it hasn't happened again. Make note also that this says it's for Rino 110 & 120's but it is also for the Rino 520 & 530's as well. This mount works great. (We don't leave our Garmin hanging in it, though, when we're not in the car). We got it for our 530 and it is what the Garmin website says to buy for a mount for the 530 if you look under the accessories. We've used it for our Garmin for over two months now. There was one day that we walked outside and the mount was lying on the dash board.
It seems when it gets really cold the suction cups lose their hold and when the mount fell on the dash it broke. The nice thing is it doesn't make it difficult to pickup your Rino and talk on it or check the map. The window mount and the power adapter work really well together and has made my Rino 120 so much easier to use and saves a lot of money in battery costs, so I really recommend you get the power adapter as well, you won't be sorry.12-11-07I had to edit this review to add a warning. It easily adjusts so you can make it easy to see, no matter what angle your windshield is.
I bought this for my Rino 120 and I Love it. It can't be fixed and now I need to order another mount. Don't leave it on the window when you are not using the Rino, it got really cold around here and I came out to my truck to find the mount laying on the dash. It works really well, before I had this I used to either hold my Rino while driving around or try to hang it off my rear view mirror.
I would ***highly recommend*** that you get the 12v car power adapter, it works really well. So heed my warning. But the Window Mount solved that problem, now no more lost satellite signals from keeping my Rino in a cup holder and no more Rino sliding around my dash while out hunting. The window mount is totally adjustable and so far has held like it was bolted to the window. No special buttons to press to take it out of the holder.
good product. also the suction cup works great. I got this to use in my truck when I'm out in the country, going off road, or just need to find a new destination in the city. It has 2 points of adjustment so you will always be able to get it in just the right spot for you to see.
